"This series captures a summer day on the crowded beaches of Shëngjin, Albania. An inflatable crocodile looms over a sea of striped umbrellas, half-submerged bathers dot the shallow water, and an elderly woman walks the promenade alone, her back turned to the sea she's known her whole life. A lone orange umbrella watches over an empty pop-up tent, its owners elsewhere in the crowd. Playful, chaotic, and quietly nostalgic, the images capture the rhythm of an Albanian coastal town in high season — where mass tourism and local everyday life sit side by side on the same strip of sand.
